Our synagogue is particularly beautiful.[..] Indeed, all those who visited it were astonished. In our best days, we had a very good, very famous choir in Lugoj; with exceptional voices and an organ. Well, it is not functional anymore. We also had a harmonium that is still in use today; you can still play it. There were also very good cantors, like Zitron, who was very famous. Katz as well, who later moved to Timișoara. The services held were very impressive. There were special rituals, mostly during holidays: with songs, a choir... The organ on which the "Hazamir" choir played in the synagogue still exists today.
